The main goal of EVC is to provide theoretical and practical education. Besides all lectures and instructive edited video’s on surgical and endovascular procedures we will have the well known International Vascular Master class (“Pontresina”) and Vascular Access hands-on course on human cadaver models.

In the vascular master class, life-like models are used to train vascular reconstructive procedures in carotid, abdominal aortic and peripheral vessels. Endovascular models are used to train abdominal and thoracic aortic endograft implantation. These simulators are using pulsatile and perfusion like systems. All trainings are given by well known vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, who are experts in the field.
In total the infrastructure consists of 24 models, allowing a maximum of 48 participants during a 3-days Course. With more than 10 teachers, an intensive and individual training is guaranteed. The Master class is highly appreciated and currently acknowledged as the number-one platform for practical training in open and endovascular procedures in Europe.
